Our #1 Project and concern is for a Hatchery in Oregon which has an estimated 1000+ Sturgeon ranging in size from 12" up to 6+feet.

All the smaller sturgeon are very healthy and well cared for but some of the larger ones have missing fins, missing whiskers, and some are bottle-necked (where they neck is bent back like if a person was looking up with their head tilted back)

The hatchery was very successful years ago but due to new Oregon laws these fish cannot be sold to the public or pet stores as ornamentals and they cannot be used for caviar or meat.

These Sturgeon are just there. Serving no purpose. Living and Slowly dying in overcrowded tanks and raceways.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE THESE STURGEON.

The entire hatchery is for sale and we need your help to purchase it.
Currently the owner is asking $70,000 to purchase all the fish and all the equipment. We need to raise an additional $30,000 for Relocation and Start-Up Expenses.
We will keep a running sum on the opening page to let everyone know our progress and what you have donated.

Our goal is to buy the hatchery and obtain 1-10 acres of land in Washington or Oregon to build the G&M STURGEON PARK (or rent a facility)
We will create ponds and natural environments for these Sturgeon and only put a reasonable healthy amount in each pond.
We will make it open to the public with education and awareness programs.
The decayed fish that are barely surviving will be humanely euthanized and used for educational purposes.
We will always keep all of our Sponsors, Donaters, and the Public openly aware of all of our activities for it is with you all that this will be possible.

Thanks for everything
Keep the dreams alive

(In the event that the Hatchery is purchased before we raise the needed funds ALL money will still go towards the building and funding of the G&M Sturgeon Park)

Our #2 Project and concern is the Amu Darya Sturgeon Awareness Plan.
For us the Amu Darya Sturgeon is the most fascinating of all the Sturgeon species and the most in danger.
The habitat and existence of this Sturgeon is very threatened and diminishing. How many exist is completely unknown and there is research going on with these Sturgeon but no known propagation to help its numbers.

Please visit the Amu Darya links on the Links Page to become more educated on the seriousness and sadness surrounding the Amu Darya Sturgeon.

We are searching for the correct methods and contacts to help stop the diminishing of this Sturgeons habitat and ways to restore, whether publicly or governmentally, the natural environment back to its original condition.

We will always keep all of our Sponsors, Donaters, and the Public openly aware of all of our activities for it is with you all that this will be possible.

Thanks for everything
Keep the dreams alive
